Clemson offers 4-star RB

While on campus for his first visit to Clemson, four-star running back Adam Choice picked up an offer from the Tigers' coaches.

The No. 27 running back in the country was in town from Thomas County High School [Thomasville, Ga.].

"I enjoyed it, just being on campus with the fans. It was a great experience. I really enjoyed myself," Choice told CUTigers on Sunday.

Clemson's offer was somewhat expected.

"My coach, he told me to be expecting one," Choice said. "But I kind of brushed it off a little bit, I guess. I was very excited when they told me. Clemson is a great school and a great program. I was very excited about it."

How was the rest of the trip?

"It was very nice. I liked everything that I saw. It was a very nice campus. They had a good bit of fans at the spring game. I know they're dedicated and support their team.

"That's a thing that both teams will want -- dedicated fans. You can't ask for anything else, really, in a program. Everything that I saw, I liked it a lot."

Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Ole Miss, USF, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin have also offered.

Choice has no timeline for a decision.

"I'm not sure, but whenever I do know, I'll go ahead and commit or sign. There's no set time," he said.

Several factors will be taken into consideration.

"Definitely, wherever I'm comfortable and wherever my parents are comfortable," Choice said. "It's something, both of us have to be in agreement with, but I look for the academics and, definitely, athletics.

"Whatever is going to fit me for life after sports. You have to have a plan for what you do after sports."

Choice, who plays quarterback for Thomas County, rushed for 1,650 yards and 23 touchdowns as a junior. Top Stories
