Goodman to the Falcons

With the 127th pick in the NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons picked Clemson defensive end Malliciah Goodman.

Goodman, a fourth-round pick, joins former Clemson tight end Michael Palmer in Atlanta.

As a senior, Goodman had 28 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, eight quarterback pressures, two pass breakups, a team-high four caused fumbles, and one recovered fumble in 622 snaps over 13 games. He was also an All-ACC honorable mention.

A two-year starter, Goodman finished with 150 tackles, 21.5 tackles for loss and 12 sacks.

He is the second Clemson player selected in this year's draft. Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was picked in the first-round by the Houston Texans. Top Stories
