Brooks was there to check in on defensive tackle Lamont Gaillard and defensive end Harold Landry.

Also by the school that day were coaches from Alabama and North Carolina.

Landry was able to speak with Brooks afterwards.

"He wants me to come up for a visit again. He hopes that I'm still looking at other schools, even though I'm committed B.C.," Landry told CUTigers.

Is the 6-foot-3, 225-pound prospect looking around?

"No, my commitment is strong."

Landry has visited Clemson. He was down to watch spring practice in March.

"They've got the best facilities, from what I've seen," Landry said. "Their practice was very intense. Of course, it's going to be intense when you start off with the Oklahoma Drill. It was very intense."

Also this spring, Landry visited South Carolina, UNC and Boston College. While on the trip to Chestnut Hill in April, he committed.

Since his commitment, Landry has added offers from Clemson, South Carolina, N.C. State, Miami, Georgia Tech and Ole Miss.

As a junior, he had 92 tackles, eight sacks, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble. Top Stories
