WR Terry Googer Profile
Defensive backs coach Mike Reed stopped by the school to offer Googer and sophomore teammate Arrington Farrar.
"I didn't really know that they were interested or anything. They said they really loved my film and that I could really help them out in what they're trying to do," Googer recently told CUTigers.
Googer has offers from several schools, including South Carolina, Louisville, Ole Miss, Miami, UNC, Notre Dame and West Virginia.
"Right now, I'm open to everybody, but I'm really high on [Clemson]," he said. "I'm going down, actually this summer, to take a visit."
It wouldn't be his first trip to Clemson. Googer's first and only trip to Clemson was three years ago "for academic purposes."
"I like the campus a lot," he said. "Everything was close. The campus was perfect for me. I want to get up there for a football game and see the atmosphere and everything."
For Googer, two things stand out about Clemson.
"I just like the type of offense they run and the location from home," he said.
As a junior, Googer accumulated over 2,500 yards of total offense as the quarterback for Woodward Academy.
