Scouting Report

It is hard to find a better football program from top to bottom than Buford, so Rogers will come out ready to compete for playing time as a freshman physically and mentally. He has added around 15-20 pounds since last season and that is perfect for his style of play. He is a very aggressive player that plays within his capabilities. He makes very few mistakes, he takes good angles to the ball, and he is constantly around the football. He is best when going north-south and attacking the ball. He is a very sound tackler, he wraps up, and he can strike well. He is an ideal inside linebacker on the next level. He may not be someone who wows the crowd on a regular basis, but he is a very smart and sound football player. He lacks that elite explosiveness and he may not be an elite sideline to sideline players, but he finds the ball quickly, he reads his keys, and he gets to the ball quickly. Top Stories
