Scouting Report

Register is a linebacker who can play standing up or with his hand down on the next level due to his size and length. He can play downhill and fill the inside holes or he can use his athleticism and length to help contain the edge. He is a natural pass rusher and he is strong in pursuit. He plays better in attack mode than if he drops into space or plays farther from the line of scrimmage. He is a very strong tackler and he tackles with some thump. He is limited laterally, but he pursues the ball well once he gets going downhill. He uses his long arms well to help shed blocks. Overall, he is a linebacker who could play inside or outside with his hand on the ground or standing up depending on how he develops physically. He has great size and will likely be moved around once Clemson gets him on campus. Top Stories
