Four-star wide receiver signee Mike Williams looks forward to making the move up to Clemson later this month.

His quest for early playing time begins on June 23 when non-early enrolled members of the 2013 signing class move to Tigertown.

"I'm real excited. I was waiting on this day ever since I committed. I'm just working for the day and just waiting on it," Williams said.

The No. 38 wide receiver in the class of 2013 would like to see the field this fall.

"I expect to come in and just learn from Sammy Watkins and all of those boys, just follow their lead, see what they're doing, take some notes and try to do better than them, and to just play as a freshman," Williams said.

But he doesn't expect that the playing will just be handed to him.

"I'm just going to see what they do, practice hard and see where everybody gets a spot," Williams said.

As a senior at Lake Marion High School, Williams had 60 receptions for 1,395 yards and 10 touchdowns. During his junior season, he caught 66 passes for 1,296 yards and 11 scores. As a sophomore, he hauled in 42 catches.

Williams will wear No. 7 at Clemson.
