DUNCAN, S.C. - Longtime Clemson quarterback commitment Deshaun Watson spent a couple of days in Tigertown earlier this week.

The four-star quarterback was one of several highly-touted prospects in for the Dabo Swinney Football Camp.

Watson camped at Clemson on Wednesday and Thursday before joining his Gainesville High School teammates at the Palmetto State Showdown in Duncan on Friday. CUTigers spoke with him on Friday.

"It was cool getting spend time with some of recruits and coaches, getting to work out with them and just hang out, just being in Clemson, a great time up there. I had fun at the camp," Watson said.

His trip to Clemson made it the third-straight summer he's worked with Chad Morris at Swinney's camp.

"Just same stuff, footwork drills, technique stuff to work on during my throwing, just timing with the receivers and just being a leader," Watson said.

Among the other campers with Watson were four-star wide receivers Artavis Scott and Trey Quinn.

"It was pretty cool. They're some cool guys, laid back. They love to compete and work," Watson said. "They want to be on a team that's going to win. I told them Clemson is bright. And, hopefully, we can win in the future -- we get those guys.

"I think we've got a good shot with both of them."

As a junior, Watson completed 305 of 435 passes for 4,024 yards with 50 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also rushed for 1,441 yards.
