WR Trey Quinn Profile
The Barbe High School rising senior arrived to Clemson Tuesday night with mom, dad and little brother. Their return home to Lake Charles, La. began on Friday morning.
"I enjoyed it. They're good people to be around up there. I really enjoyed being around the coaches, a few of the commits. I enjoyed it overall. My family enjoyed the family atmosphere," Quinn told CUTigers.
Spending time with Dabo Swinney, Chad Morris, Jeff Scott and the rest of the Clemson coaches and staff was a treat.
"They're really down to earth people. They really give that family presence away from home," Quinn said. "But, also, once you get on the field, it is business there. They know what they're talking about. But they know how to treat you off the field, as well as on. But they definitely get the job done on the field."
While in for the spring game, Quinn met Clemson quarterback commitment Deshaun Watson. The four-star prospects got to know one another even better during the camp, on and off the field.
"I like catching from him. Dude's got an absolute cannon," Quinn said. "He's definitely going to be a successful quarterback as long as he keeps going, keeps grinding and all of that. I like catching from him. He's a good quarterback with a bright future."
On the way back home, Quinn made a stop by Auburn for a visit. He has two other destinations in mind for the summer.
"As of now, I'm trying to get up to Ole Miss and possibly LSU," he said.
His list of 20-plus offers could be narrowed down in a month or so.
"Probably, towards the end of July, maybe," Quinn said.
He added, "I think that would be narrowing down and then, sooner or later, a commitment, probably. But I can't promise anything. That's just what I'd like to happen."
As a junior, Quinn caught 111 passes for 2,094 yards and 26 touchdowns.
As a sophomore, he caught 67 passes for 1,220 yards and 12 touchdowns. Quinn also rushed 35 times for 495 yards and 11 touchdowns.
As a freshman, Quinn had 67 catches for 1,238 yards and nine touchdowns.
