Offered '16 WR camps at Clemson

The Clemson coaches have already sent out a number of scholarship offers to wide receivers in the class of 2016.

WR Bryan Edwards Profile

One of the first ones went out to Conway High School's Bryan Edwards. He was in Clemson last week for the Dabo Swinney Football Camp.

"It went real good. I had a lot of fun," Edwards told CUTigers earlier this week.

Wide receivers coach Jeff Scott helped Edwards iron out a few parts of his game.

"I picked up a lot, a lot of new routes and stuff that we improved on my receiving skills," Edwards said.

He added, "It was real good getting to know coach Scott, especially since I'm getting recruited there.

"Getting to be around the coach that I might be able to play with in the future, just getting to know him."

As a whole, the experience in Clemson was a good one.

"I liked a lot about the camp. One of the things was us just being around all the campers and meeting new people," Edwards said.

Clemson is the only camp stop that Edwards has made this summer. Though he's yet to plan any others, there could be more visits on tap this summer.

During his freshman season, Edwards had 17 receptions for 500 yards and nine touchdowns.
