CUTigers recently caught up with the Allendale-Fairfax middle linebacker to talk about his camp stop.

"It was pretty good. I liked the things that we did," Ward said.

It was his third appearance in Clemson for camp.

"The drills we did help me out with some stuff, my technique," Ward said. "It helped me try to prepare for the season."

He also camped at South Carolina this summer. A return trip to Columbia could be on later this month.

"It was pretty good. I liked it. Basically the same thing," Ward said. "And, at Clemson, I also liked the Swinney Ball [games]."

Along with the instate schools, he's hearing from North Carolina and Georgia.

As a freshman, Ward had 101 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, & 3 forced fumbles.
