Big things in store for Bryant

We're into the top 10 of our countdown and the first of two wide receivers is up -- junior Martavis Bryant.

CUTigers continues the list of the top 25 players we think will have the most productive seasons in 2013.

No. 7

WR Martavis Bryant, Junior
Originally signed out of T.L. Hanna High School in 2010, Bryant spent a post-graduate season at Hargrave Military Academy before enrolling at Clemson in 2011.

The Resume

Bryant emerged as one of the most dangerous vertical threats in the country over the last two seasons. In 24 games, he's caught 19 passes for 526 yards and six touchdowns. That's an average of 27.7 yards per catch.

In 245 snaps as a sophomore, he caught 10 passes for 305 yards and four scores. As a freshman, Bryant caught nine passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns.

Though he played more snaps last season, Bryant played in fewer games as a sophomore. He was suspended for the bowl game in 2012 because of a violation of team academic standards.

Moving Forward

Since Dabo Swinney issued that one-game suspension, Bryant has done a bang up job, both on the field and in the classroom.

Despite putting together a solid spring, Bryant was still listed behind Sammy Watkins as the starter at the 9-position. Because Watkins could still work at the 2-position, Bryant will still see a fair amount of snaps in 2013.

Bryant could cash in with a big 2013 and declare for the NFL draft next spring. One thing is for certain, he's got the skill set to play in the league.
