The first 2016 commitment?

Delontae Moore made his first Clemson visit in June for camp. He returned on the final day of August for the Georgia game.

Could a pledge to the Tigers be his next order of business from the sophomore wide receiver from Ballou High School [Washington, D.C.]?

It's possible.

Moore enjoyed both visits to Clemson, especially his visit for the win over Georgia.

"It was real exciting. It was a good game and I liked how intense it was," he recently told CUTigers.

Moore added, "To me, it was kind of better, because I got to see the players and how they are with the players. They treat them like family. I liked how the fans cheered for their players."

While in town for the game, Moore spoke with defensive backs coach Mike Reed, who recruits the D.C. area for Clemson.

"He was telling me how Clemson was, how they treat their players are like family, how good of coaches they've got," Moore said.

What stands out the most about Clemson?

"The main thing that I like is it is like family…they had us on the field for warm-ups before the game. I liked that."

Moore picked up an offer from Clemson after a strong showing during the Dabo Swinney Football Camp. Georgia, North Carolina and West Virginia have also expressed interest.
