Tanner Muse, one of the top 2015 prospects in the Carolinas, visited Clemson last month for the season opener against Georgia.

The South Point [Belmont, N.C.] prospect didn't leave disappointed.

"It was real great. It was real nice to see pretty much how the whole state closes down to come see Clemson on a night like that. It was a great time and I loved it," he told CUTigers during a recent interview.

Muse, who was offered by Clemson the week of the spring game, visited Tigertown days after the Tigers were added to his offer sheet.

The atmosphere that afternoon was a little different than the one he was apart of in late August.

"Inside the stadium, it's just that everybody is there. It's amazing," Muse said.

Vanderbilt was added to that offer sheet on Wednesday night, joining Clemson, Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Ole Miss, UNC, N.C. State and Virginia. Tennessee, Ohio State and Georgia have expressed interest, too.

The No. 21 ranked outside linebacker in the class of 2015, Muse has no list of favorites.

"I haven't really had anything set. I just want to take it day by day and see where it goes," he said

Muse had 60 tackles and five interceptions as a sophomore. Top Stories
