Williams makes it No. 3

Clemson added its third greyshirt commitment to the 2015 signing class when Jalen Williams pledged to the Tigers on Friday morning.

Williams, who's a senior at Blythewood High School, committed to Clemson over offers from Appalachian State and Towson. The news was announced at Blythewood on Friday morning.

He joins J.D. Davis and Judah Davis as the greyshirt commitments to the 2015 Clemson class. The Tigers' staff also has commitments from Van Smith and Noah Green.

It's possible that Williams' greyshirt offer could turn into a standard offer before signing day. If it does, he'll sign with the class of 2014.

Clemson has hosted Williams for two visits this fall -- the Georgia game and the Wake Forest game.
