Three straight Clemson games

This junior running back from North Carolina has been to the last two Clemson home games. He'll be back in town on Saturday.

RB Rocky Reid Profile

Rocky Reid was in Tigertown for the Wake Forest and Boston College games. He plans to visit again Saturday for the Florida State game.

"It went pretty good. I loved it all. The fans, it was all good. I loved it," he told CUTigers in an interview, after the Boston College game.

In addition to his two visits this season, Reid was in Clemson for a game last fall, too.

"I like the tailgating and the fans there. Everybody is like one big family. Everybody knows each other. It's just like one big family down there," he said. "I love it all."

Running backs coach Tony Elliott and area recruiter Danny Pearman spoke with the Concord High School prospect.

What was their message?

"Just keep doing what I'm doing and keep my head in the books."

Wake Forest, Duke and UNC-Charlotte have hosted Reid for visits this season. North Carolina will host him on Thursday night for the Miami game.

Reid hopes to visit Tennessee, N.C. State and Towson later this fall.

So far this season, he's rushed for 1,706 yards with 19 touchdowns. Reid ran for 1,590 yards and 15 touchdowns as a sophomore.

Ohio and UNC-Charlotte have offered.
