Savannah Country Day School sophomore Demetris Robertson made his first trip up to Clemson on Saturday for the Florida State game.

"It was great. I felt like I was at home. It was a great experience. I loved it. Even though they lost, I still loved it," he told CUTigers on Sunday.

While in town, Robertson spoke with Scott.

"He was like, ‘Could I see myself out there playing with them?' Things like that," Robertson said.

He was impressed with the campus and game day atmosphere in Clemson.

"It was my first time seeing something like that. It was exciting to see some things like that," Robertson said.

The facilities were nice, too.

"It was really nice. I went to see the weight room and locker room, stuff like that. It was some of the best that I saw," he said.

In addition to the Clemson trip, Robertson has visited Georgia, Georgia Tech and South Carolina.

Clemson, Georgia Tech and Akron have offered.

Limited to four games as a freshman because of a broken ankle, he had 30 catches for over 400 yards on the offensive side of the ball. On defense, Robertson had over 40 tackles. Top Stories
