Four-star QB reviews visit

This 6-foot-5, 200-pound sophomore quarterback from Georgia owns a Clemson offer. He was on campus earlier this month.

QB Jawon Pass Profile

Jawon Pass was one of several prospects that visited Clemson from Carver High School in Columbus. He was joined by two junior teammates, Alabama defensive end commitment Mekhi Brown and defensive back Khane Pass.

"I had a lot of fun, especially at the game that atmosphere," Jawon told CUTigers, during a recent interview.

Because Carver played on Thursday, Pass and the Carver crew got into Clemson around 8 o'clock Friday night.

"Saturday, after the game, we got to hang out with some of the players that went to Carver," Pass said.

Those former Carver players are defensive end Corey Crawford and left guard David Beasley.

"They were [saying] it's a great place to come," Pass said.

The Florida State game was the second time Pass has been in Clemson for the game day experience. Last year, he attended the South Carolina game.

"Mainly, I just like the games, the stadium. I like atmosphere. When they run down the hill, I like that and everybody, the coaches, everything," Pass said.

Pass has offers from Clemson, N.C. State, Mississippi State and UNC.

Who leads?

"It's a little too early. But, right now, I'd say Clemson."

Just a sophomore, Pass has no timetable for a decision.

"I was thinking about making the decision early, but my coaches say I need to wait it out," he said. Top Stories
