WR J.J. Arcega-Whiteside Profile
Well, there's another playmaking pass catcher at Dorman who's making waves on the recruiting trail. Junior J.J. Arcega-Whiteside has around 70 catches for 1,004 yards and 15 touchdowns.
He made a trip Clemson earlier this season for the Florida State game. Plenty stood out to him during his first game day visit to Clemson.
"How crazy the fans were, first of all. They were tailgating all the way up to the stadium," Arcega-Whiteside said. "And just how committed coach [Dabo] Swinney is with all of the players. It seems to be like he really looks out for everybody."
The environment inside Memorial Stadium wasn't bad either.
"I thought it was crazy. I could barely even hear myself think a couple of times," he said.
Arcega-Whiteside has also visited South Carolina, UNC and Charlotte this season.
Lately, Clemson, South Carolina, Duke, UNC and Notre Dame have been expressing the most interest. Arcega-Whiteside is still waiting to pick up his first offer.
"I think it will come sometime after the season," he said. "I don't think it will come during the season. But I think the first offer I'm going to get will come from North Carolina."
