After accounting for 11 touchdowns in the first-round of the state playoffs, Mauldin's Dre Massey is back on the Clemson recruiting radar.

The senior quarterback threw four touchdown passes and scored seven more on the ground. He finished with 29 carries for 354 yards and completed 19 of 21 passes for 213 yards in the 83-70 win over Boiling springs.

"I actually thought I had eight or nine towards the end of the game, but we were really just trying to play the game out," Massey said. "It actually was a close game until the last two minutes. All we could continue to do was to keep scoring, so I really wasn't paying attention to how many [touchdowns] I had. I was just focused on trying to beat the other team.

"Then, I went to the sideline after my last touchdown and my coach was like, ‘You know you've got 11 touchdowns?'"

Clemson defensive tackles coach Dan Brooks has since reached out the two-star wide receiver prospect.

"I used to communicate with [Brooks] pretty often over the summer," Massey said. "After that game, he was just like, ‘You had an amazing game.' He was like, ‘We want you to come up for this game.'

"I was supposed to go to the game against Georgia Tech, but we had a playoff game, so [Brooks] was [said] we probably wouldn't get home until like 3 o'clock, so I'd be tired."

Massey will be in Tigertown on Saturday for the home finale against The Citadel. But Clemson isn't the only school that's been in touch with Massey since his impressive performance.

"I've been hearing more from South Carolina, N.C. State, Maryland and West Virginia," he said.

Marshall is his only offer.

All like him as a wide receiver, where he's ranked as the No. 234 prospect in the class of 2014, according to Scout.com.

Saturday's visit won't be his first to Clemson. Massey has been to the Dabo Swinney Football Camp and also attended a spring game.

"I love the atmosphere and they've got the new indoor facility. I loved that when I was there. The locker room and everywhere they take the recruits, the West End Zone, I love everything about it," Massey said.

As a senior, Massey had 2,049 rushing yards and over 2,500 passing yards. He accounted for a total of 63 touchdowns
