The Mauldin High School prospect spoke with CUTigers on Sunday about his visit to Tigertown for the home finale against The Citadel.

"It was good. It was real good," he said.

When asked about the atmosphere for the Senior Day game, Massey said, "I love it.

"I really do. It was a lot different and it was exciting. They really like their recruits."

Massey added, "We went over the athletic stuff, saw the Tiger Walk, talked to the coaches a little bit, went on the field before the game."

A two-star wide receiver prospect, according to, Massey spoke mostly with defensive tackles coach Dan Brooks, who serves as his recruiter of record for Clemson.

"I'm going to talk to him more this week and try to get an offer, so we're supposed to talk this week more," Massey said.

Does he have an idea where things might stand regarding an offer to Clemson?

"I might have to go Tri-County at first and [grey] shirt first," Massey said.

He'll head to N.C. State this weekend for a visit.

"I should be getting [an offer] from them," Massey said. "They had a recent offer at wide receiver, so maybe I'll get one at DB. I've got to talk to them about that when I get there, or t his week."

A trip to West Virginia could be next.

As a senior, Massey had 2,049 rushing yards and over 2,500 passing yards. He accounted for a total of 63 touchdowns. Top Stories
