Terry Godwin has over 20 offers and he now has a top six. The five-star athlete out of Georgia breaks down his favorites and tells when he will commit here...

Many schools have had Terry Godwin on their campus the last couple of years.

Many schools have had Terry Godwin on their campus the last couple of years.

The five-star junior out of Hoganville (Ga.) Callaway has been picking up offers since the summer after his freshman year.

Godwin is a versatile athlete who has been offered as an athlete, a cornerback, and a wide receiver. He would like to play both sides of the ball on the next level.

He is now ready to name his top six.

"In no order, my top schools are Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, and Ole Miss," said Godwin.

Godwin says a little about each school.

Alabama: "Coach [Nick] Saban is big on academics. They come first in his eyes. I like that and I like how he is all business on the football field."

Auburn: "Coach [Gus] Malzahn came in and he and the a whole new staff did a 360 at Auburn this year. They impressed me getting to the BCS game this season."

Clemson: "The coaches are great with the players at Clemson. It is family-like there and I really like that."

Georgia: "Coach [Mark] Richt, Coach [John] Lilly, Coach [Mike] Bobo, and Coach [Tony] Ball all check up on me like every day. They always ask me about school, my family, and I really like that. It is a like a big family at Georgia too."

LSU: "Coaches on both sides of the ball are really recruiting me for LSU and I like that. They want me at both positions."

Ole Miss: "This is a school that is on the rise. I like the big campus there and I like how they have been playing. They are a school that is really getting better."

The 6-foot, 160 pound star athlete has visited each of these schools at least once and he has attended at least one game at all schools other than LSU.

Godwin now plans to visit all six again in 2014. He has not set any visits up yet and he is playing basketball for his school, so he stays pretty busy.

He has plenty of time to take visits though because he doesn't plan to make his decision until 2015.

"Right now, I have a top six, but the list could change," said Godwin. "I have to take more visits, see who I trust the most, and go from there.

"I have already decided that I am committing at the Under Armour All-America game next year. I will take some official and unofficial visits to schools before that." Top Stories
