The Socastee High School senior has already taken an official to Appalachian State. His trip to Clemson will be his last before signing day.

In the fall, Renfrow will be at one of the two schools. He told CUTigers on Sunday that he's leaning towards one of the two.

"But I'm still just going to take time and talk with my parents," he said.

Though Renfrow wouldn't tip his hand, he did have good things to say about his weekend in Tigertown.

"It was awesome," he said. "I really enjoyed my time with the coaches and I liked the facilities. The people are what stood out though. It's such a family atmosphere."

What was the message from the Clemson coaches?

"They want me to be at Clemson because they felt, even if I never played a down of football, I would love going to school there."

Holder Corbin Jenkins served as Renfrow's player host for the weekend. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect got to spend time with several other players.

"They were all real nice and they just said that no matter who you are or what position you play, it's just one big family and they enjoy being there," Renfrow said.

What's next for him the decision making process?

"Just talking with my parents and then making a decision in a week or so."

As a senior, Renfrow rushed for 1,500 yards and passed for another 850. He finished with a total of 27 touchdowns.
