The Greenwood junior recently caught up with CUTigers to talk about that visit and where things stand with his recruitment.

"It was good. I had a great time with the coaches and all of the recruits. It was a great time, I had a great time," Chalmers said.

Specifically, what stood out?

"It just, I mean, I got to spend time with the coaches and people I would be playing with if I went there, and just talking to all of the coaches, just the environment of the school."

When asked what the message was from the Clemson coaches, Chalmers said: "They basically kept it like a family-like atmosphere.

"They kept everything real. It was just a good experience."

Chalmers visited Georgia last weekend. For now, he has no other visits on the docket.

With offers from Clemson, Duke, Georgia Tech, UNC, South Carolina, Stanford and Tennessee, the three-star cornerback claims no list of favorites.

"I'll probably make my decision either sometime this summer or during the season," Chalmers said.

A number of factors will be considered as he works towards that decision.

"Of course, academics, just the environment of the school, coaches, how I get along with the people there, things like that," Chalmers said.

As a junior, Chalmers had 25 tackles and four pass breakups. He also returned seven kickoffs for 125 yards. On the offensive side of the ball, he caught three passes for 53 yards.
