Campbell keeping it laid back

George Campbell is back on the market and he's got all the college options he could want. It looks like any school could make a serious push to land the five-star.

George Campbell decommitted from Michigan, but the Wolverines aren't out of the picture. Neither is any other school. The list of programs after Campbell's skills is long, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Florida, Miami, Clemson, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Vanderbilt. Who is in the conversation to land the five-star athlete?

"I don't even know right now, I can't even lie to you," Campbell said with a laugh.

"I'm not even paying too much attention, I'm just laid back, letting it go as slow as possible."

The Tarpon Springs (Fla.) East Lake star was on the Florida campus earlier this month for junior day and most recently he visited North Carolina. Campbell enjoyed his time in Chapel Hill.

"It was fun, me and (UNC head) coach (Larry) Fedora, hanging out, but I mainly hung out with (wide receivers) coach Gunter (Brewer), he's one of the coaches I know. He was keeping it real the whole time I was there, he was letting me know what I needed to know, not what I wanted to," he said.

He was also able to attend the North Carolina basketball game when the Tar Heels took down rival Duke in a thrilling win.

"It was pretty sick, I stormed the court too after it. A game like that, it was a great atmosphere, the fans know how to party," he said.

Campbell isn't sure where he'll visit next, he's just taking it one day at a time. He'll likely visit Alabama soon with his 7on7 teammate and good friend, five-star Byron Cowart, but he wants to visit as many schools as he can before the process is finished.

"Any school I can possibly get to, I'm going to try to visit. There's a lot of schools coming after me," he said.

"I really want to (narrow things down) heading into the season or during the season." Campbell still plans to announce his final choice at the 2015 Under Armour All-American Game.
