Earlier last month, this massive 6-foot-8, 320-pound offensive tackle from the Lowcountry spent an entire weekend in Clemson.

Timberland sophomore Kevin McCray arrived to Clemson on Friday, Feb. 28 and stuck around until Sunday.

In a recent interview with CUTigers, McCray spoke about his time with offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell and running backs coach Tony Elliott and the rest of his weekend in Tigertown.

"Saturday, coach Elliott and coach Caldwell gave me a private tour of Clemson," McCray said. "I went to see my best friend wrestle in state. He won state back-to-back. Then, I went to the Clemson and Maryland game on Sunday."

McCray enjoyed Saturday's trip around campus.

"That was good. I felt like I was getting the royal treatment," he said. "It was just us and the coaches' wives, just riding through Clemson on the golf cart. They were showing me the buildings. They showed me the field, got to go down to The Rock and see that. It was very good, a good experience."

Sunday's win over Maryland was also a positive experience.

"That basketball game was good. That was the best atmosphere I've seen at a game," McCray said.

What's next?

"Carolina wants me to come to their junior day in March. Even though I'm a sophomore, they want me to come. That's all for me. I've got a couple of combines to go to, but that's about it."

McCray is still waiting to pick up his first offer.

"I'm not sure. Carolina might offer me at junior day. Somebody might offer me when I'm up for camp," he said.

Clemson, Georgia and North Carolina were mentioned as potential camp destinations.
