Black enjoys Clemson visit

Paris Black is a prospect on the rise. The 2015 Fayetteville (N.C.) Terry Sanford defensive end spoke with Scout.com about the latest developments in his recruitment.

"Recruiting has been going pretty well," said Paris Black. "I have three offers – Wake Forest, ECU and Hampton. North Carolina, N.C. State, Tennessee and Clemson are the other main schools recruiting me.

He took a visit last weekend.

"I went to Clemson last weekend and it was pretty fun," said the 6-foot-4, 235-pound Black. "I liked the campus and the weight room was pretty nice. My favorite part was seeing the football facilities. They had crazy facilities. I was amazed."

While on the visit, he was able to speak to one of Clemson's coaches.

"I got to talk to (defensive tackles) coach Dan Brooks," he said. "He said he was going to come by my school during the spring and that he wanted me to come to their camp this summer."

The Terry Sanford star said he would like to take a few more trips in the near future.

"My next trip will most likely be ECU, but I don't know the exact date," Black said. "I'll probably go up for their spring game. I also want to go out to Tennessee."

In regards to the summer,Black said he wants to camp at Clemson, East Carolina, North Carolina and N.C. State.

Black has an idea of when he would like to make his commitment.

"I want to start narrowing my list down at the beginning of football season," he said. "I'll probably cut it to a top three and then I'll make decision early in the season.

"The main factors are going to be education – I want to major in psychology and criminal justice," Black said. "Football-wise, I just want to go somewhere that I'm comfortable and somewhere that I can bond with the coaches."

Black said he is wide open with his recruitment.
