It remains to be seen whether or not he adds Clemson to his list of offers, which includes from Wake Forest, Appalachian State, Elon, James Madison and Old Dominion.

"A lot of schools said they're going to offer me this spring sometime or when I go up to camp, or when I visit them next time. Others said they want to evaluate me more," Arcega-Whiteside told CUTigers during a recent interview.

As a junior, Arcega-Whiteside had 76 catches for 1,500 yards and 16 touchdowns.

"South Carolina and Clemson said there might be a possibility they offer me at camp. It just depends on what days I see them and if I'm doing my best," he said.

The three-star prospect expounded up on his most recent trip to Clemson.

"It went pretty good. I got to talk to coach Dabo [Swinney] and coach [Jeff] Scott a little bit. That was pretty good, got to watch practice and everything," Arcega-Whiteside said.

He added "They were saying that they're really interested in me. They're going to come visit me and they want me to come up to camp."

In addition to that Clemson stop, Arcega-Whiteside has visited UNC, Wake Forest and Auburn this spring. Top Stories
