In good standing with 4-star DT

North Carolina has been known to produce plenty of top tier talent over the years and in 2015 it will be more of the same. Four-star DT Sterling Johnson is a wanted man.

Johnson checks in at 6-foot-5, 270-pounds. The Clayton (NC) Cleveland high school standout has offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Penn State and Texas to name a few.

Even though the process has been a bit too much to comprehend Johnson is taking things in stride.

"It's slightly overwhelming but a blessing," Johnson said.

Johnson plans to make a few trips and talked about a few teams that have caught his eye.

"North Carolina, Clemson, Alabama and North Carolina State have all been real good," Johnson said. "They have good towns and environments with great coaches."

Johnson is the No 18 ranked defensive tackle prospect in America and plays fast, physical and has a high motor.

"I am going to visit South Carolina," Johnson said. "Miami, South Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina State, Texas and Tennessee show the most interest. I am looking for great environments, coaches, towns and a great game day atmosphere."
