On Tuesday, he dropped off an offer at Friendship Collegiate Academy for four-star junior guard Quarvez Boulware.

"My coach told me to come up to the coach's office after school. I talked to [Reed]. He was basically going over how they're recruiting and what they're looking for and he told me that I had an offer from Clemson," Boulware told CUTigers on Tuesday night.

There was prior contact with Clemson, but the No. 13 ranked guard in the country is still learning about the Tigers.

"Right now, all I know is they have a great program going on down there. I want to get down there for a visit sometime during the summer," he said.

The 6-foot-4, 275-pound prospect hopes to visit several schools this summer.

"I'm trying to get to Auburn, Alabama, Wake, UNC, Penn State and N.C. State," he said.

Of those destinations, Auburn, Wake Forest, UNC and N.C. State have offered, but Boulware has no list of favorites.

A trio of factors will be considered as he works towards that point in his recruitment.

"One factor would be if the school if the school has my major, also their criteria with education. And, also, if my parents would be able to come see me play," he said.

Boulware plans on majoring in visual arts. Top Stories
