Breeland to the Redskins

Former Clemson cornerback Bashaud Breeland was picked by the Washington Redskins with the 102nd overall pick in the NFL Draft.

Breeland was the second player taken in the fourth-round of the draft.

Voted to the All-ACC second-team last season, Breeland led Clemson in interceptions [four] and pass breakups [13]. He also had 74 tackles during his redshirt junior season.

A product of Allendale-Fairfax High School, Breeland was a four-star safety in the class of 2010, according to Scout.com.

Breeland started 24 games at cornerback during his three-year playing career.
