Joyner gives the latest

Keion Joyner is one of the top 2016 prospects in the country. The five-star Havelock (N.C.) outside linebacker spoke with Scout.com about his recruitment, future and more.

"My last offer was offer was from Alabama," said Keion Joyner. "It's a very big offer and I'm interested in them. I think I'm visiting next month."

His most recent visits were to LSU and then Clemson.

LSU: "It felt like home when I went back down there," said the 6-foot-3, 205-pound Joyner. "Some of my family came down to visit me, too. The coaches told me that I was great athlete. But the really stressed academics and that they always put education before football.

"My favorite part was getting to hang out with the players and see how they interact. I also got to see what they do in their spare time."

Clemson: "I thought the visit went very well and I enjoyed it. The practice was similar to the ones at our school.

"It was very competitive and the players really pushed each other to get better. I really enjoyed watching the practice and seeing them go through the drills."

What's next for Joyner?

"I'm going to Florida, Alabama, Clemson, South Carolina and North Carolina this summer," he said. "I'm also going to go back to Auburn and maybe LSU."
