Anthony Rush is one of the top prospects in North Carolina. The 2015 Cary defensive lineman spoke with Scout.com about the latest developments in his recruitment.

Anthony Rush Profile

"I have offers from Clemson, Florida, Kentucky, NC State, North Carolina, ODU and Virginia," said Anthony Rush. "Ohio State, Louisville, Georgia Tech, ECU, Duke and Michigan are also recruiting me. I think. I think Louisville, Ohio State or Georgia Tech could be next to offer."

One school is pursuing him harder than others,

"Kentucky is recruiting me the hardest," said the 6-foot-5, 300-pound Rush. "I talk to (safeties) coach (Craig) Naivar a lot and we have a pretty good relationship. He's a cool guy and he's passionate about his job. I'm going up there this summer."

Kentucky is not the only place he wants to visit in near future.

"I'm going to try to visit Clemson and Florida, too," he said. "I'll also visit Carolina and State."

Where is Rush when it comes to his recruitment?

"No one is really at the top of my list," he said. "I plan on taking all five official visits and making my decision on senior night. I know Kentucky, Clemson and Florida will get officials.

"Those three schools are standing out. They have a lot of seniors graduating and I have a really good relationships with all of those coaching staffs."

One major factor will help him make his decision.

"I'm looking for a place where I feel at home," Rush said. "That's the most important thing."

Rush is a three-star prospect and the 33rd-ranked defensive end in the country.
