Ferrell ready to make the call

Clelin Ferrell is ready to make his college decision. The 2015 four-star Richmond (Va.) Benedictine defensive end will announce his choice tomorrow.

Clelin Ferrell will make his college decision tomorrow between 3:15 and 4 p.m.

Back in April, the 6-foot-5, 225-pound Ferrell named a top 11 – in alphabetical order – Clemson, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.

Since that time, Ferrell has been relatively quiet in regards to his recruitment. However, Ferrell recently visited Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Clemson and South Carolina.

With that said, I think Clemson, South Carolina and Virginia Tech are the schools that have the best chance to land him.

But after talking with a few sources this afternoon, I expect Ferrell to commit to Clemson.

Ferrell is the No. 21 defensive end in the country and the 151st-ranked prospect in the 2015 class.

Scout.com will be live on the scene tomorrow at Benedictine for Ferrell's announcement. Follow along on Twitter for the latest updates.
