Rangy speedster visits Clemson

At 6-4, 190 and with 4.4 speed, this rising junior wide receiver has the measurable to play major college football.

So, last month, Maysoe Wiley, who attends Cook County High School (Ga.), was in Clemson for the Dabo Swinney Football Camp.

"It was very exciting. I liked a lot of things we did. I learned a lot, the coaching staff was great," Wiley said.

For Wiley, there was one thing in particular that stood out about the Clemson camp experience.

"The way the coaches interact with all the players," he said. "It seems like a family-type school. They don't just recruit the players."

It was his second time in Clemson. Wiley was in town earlier this spring for the Orange and White game.

"I like it a lot. It's very friendly and nice facilities," he said.

Wiley also plans to visit Florida State this summer. A few other schools have been in contact.

"I've got mail from Auburn, Indiana and UGA," he said.

Still waiting for his first offer, Wiley believes that first one could come from Charlotte in the near future.
