Clemson lands the verbal commitment of four-star defensive tackle Christian Wilkins Monday.

Wilkins, a native of Connecticut and a four-star prospect, announced the news via twitter.

"Today I would like to announce my verbal commitment to Clemson University," Wilkins wrote.

Wilkins is the second four-star defensive lineman to commit to the Tigers in as many months. In December, Clemson received a verbal commitment from four-star defensive end Albert Huggins.

Wilkins chose the Tigers over Penn State.

The massive lineman just played in the Under Armour All-American game Saturday and had a big game after an impressive week of practice.

He finished with four tackles, two sacks and returned a blocked extra point for a score.

His final top five schools were: Stanford, Clemson, Penn State, Boston College and Ohio State.
