Clemson Football Prospects and Commits in Death Valley for Clemson's 43-24 Win Over GT

It wasn't the Notre Dame game, but there were still plenty of recruits in Death Valley to watch Clemson's domination of Georgia Tech. Here is Gary McDaniel's weekly recruiting wrap-up for CUTigers.com.

Looks like the staff was able to get almost 100% attendance. Plus, several extra last-minute visitors made the trip to Tigertown.  Here is the visitor list we posted earlier in the week:

2018 RB Zamir White, Scotland HS (Laurinburg, NC)

2016 DT David Marshall, Upson-Lee HS (Thomaston, GA)

2017 ATH/DB "Tank" Davondre Robinson, Lake Marion HS (Santee, SC)

2017 RB Colin Wilson, Clay HS (Green Cove Springs, FL)

2017 WR Shi Smith, Union HS (Union, SC)

2017 LB Chandler Wooten, North Cobb HS (Atlanta, GA)

2017 OL Matt Bockhorst, St. Xavier HS (Cincinnati, OH)

2017 WR Tee Higgins, Oak Ridge HS (Oak Ridge, TN)

2017 LB Dylan Rivers, Sherando HS (Stephens City, Va)

2017 LB Justin Foster, Crest Senior HS (Shelby, NC)

2016 OL Tremayne Anchrum Jr., McEachern HS (Powder Springs, GA)

Check out the images we captured, as these kids hit the grass at Death Valley to take in the Tigers' 43-24 win over the Yellow Jackets.  Stay tuned later in the week, and I will be gathering reactions from prospects that were in attendance, as well as prospects that were not able to make the game in person.

A few of the current prospects committed to Clemson also spotted on Saturday were 2016 LB Tre Lamar, 2016 LB Jamie Skalski, 2016 OL Chandler Reeves and 2015 DE La Samuel Davis.

Commits:

2016 LB Commit Tre Lamar Roswell, GA

2016 LB Commit James Skalski  Buford, GA

2016 OL commit Chandler Reeves McDonough, GA

2015 DE commit LaSamuel Davis

 Prospects:

2018 5-star RB Zamir White Scotland County HS, NC with Offensive Player Development Coach Durrell Barry

2017 ATH/DB "Tank" Davondre Robinson

2017 RB Colin Wilson Green Cove Springs (FL)

2017 WR Shi Smith Union HS (Union, SC)

Shi was personally escorted to the field by C0-Offensive Coordinator and WRs Coach Jeff Scott. He was the very first prospect to the field, specifically to take in the WR unit's pre-game routine.

2017 LB Chandler Wooten North Cobb HS (Atlanta, GA)

2017 LB Justin Foster Crest HS (Shelby, NC)

Justin was one of the first out of the tunnel, and he was not hard to spot, as the Crest High star has a frame that stands out--even in a crowd of other prospects.

Justin's sister is a Clemson student, and he will announce his decision at the Army All-American Game in January.  As far as academics go, his intention to major in Engineering is a very big deal .

2016 OL Tremayne Anchrum Jr. McEachern HS (Powder Springs, GA)

Coach Robbie Caldwell was seen spending some time with Tremayne during the warm-up period prior to the game. The high 3-star OL is becoming a player I would keep an eye on.

2018 QB Ben Batson Daniel HS (Central, SC)

Batson played an unreal game on Friday night in a 48-47 loss to Belton-Honea Path HS.  You can see our Friday Night Lights coverage of that game HERE. At one point, Batson was 9-9 for 185 yards and 4 TDs in the 1st half of the game.

2016 DB Ajani Kerr McEachern HS (Atlanta, GA)

2017 WR Trey Parker Thomson HS (Thomson, GA)

2017 OL Jamario Eady Allendale-Fairfax HS (Allendale, SC)

2019 QB Sam Howell Monroe, NC

2018 QB Emory Jones Heard County (GA)

2017 K/P Tucker Day Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, TN)

2018 DB Jacorey Crawford Thomason HS (Thomson,GA)

2017 ATH Jake Merchant King's Mountain (NC)

2017 LB D'Marco Jackson Broome HS (Spartanburg, SC)

2018 QB Pete Elmore Barnwell HS (Barnwell, SC)
