CUTigers.com's Weekly Feature Follows Clemson Commits and Prospects in the Upstate

CUTigers.com Recruiting Expert Gary McDaniel was in Duncan this week for his Friday Night Lights feature. Gary brings you photos and video footage of Byrnes High School's clash with JL Mann. Enjoy!

Well, Demarcus Gregory did not fail to impress!  In the first half he had well over 100 yards in receiving and 2 TDs.  One of his TD's was off of a slant pass he took 5 yards from the line of scrimmage. He broke several tackles to get into the end zone, showing good power.  On the other, he took a bubble screen and went 66 yards to the house, showing a great burst of speed and long strides that ate up turf as he got rolling downfield.  Watch the videos of each TD in the gallery below.  Gregory is a serious prospect to watch. He could be the top recruit in the state for 2018 if he keeps upping his game.  Byrnes was rolling 56-7 at halftime when I had to get packed up and back this way.

I am uploading video, and all of it is from Bynes, as JL Mann was just overmatched and overwhelmed tonight. Bynes's defense was in the JL Mann backfield from the outset.  Look for Byrnes to continue to roll on through the schedule and look out for upcoming seasons, as I have heard the JV squad is loaded. They don't allow them to dress the JV on Varsity anymore due to new SC high school rules.
