Virginia Tech joined the impressive offer list yesterday when they offered the prize recruit. The offer list now includes Virginia Tech, North Carolina, South Carolina, Clemson, East Carolina and North Carolina State.

The 6-3, 200 pound speedster is not ready to go on record with a favorite. "I don't have a favorite. All the teams are about even." Coach O'Cain is recruiting Taylor as a linebacker for the Tigers, and he is working hard to get him on campus before school starts. "I like Clemson. I haven't been able to visit them yet. From what I know they are a good football school. I'm going to try to visit them before the summer is over."

The talented prospect says he does not want to hurry his decision, but a decision should come over the next few weeks. "I'm not in a hurry. I will definitely commit before my first game though."

Will distance be a factor for Taylor? "I don't want to go to far away, but it doesn't really matter."

Taylor, who currently plays defensive end, plans to work hard his senior season to get even better. "I want to get to where I can get off blocks quicker. I want to get stronger. I plan to work hard in weight room and to try to get quicker."

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding defensive player from North Carolina, right up through signing day 2004.
