Hoover High School in Hoover, AL is hosting its second annual 7 v 7 passing tournament this weekend. Teams from all over the nation come to compete in the tournament including teams from Ohio, South Carolina, Florida, and Louisiana. Last year the Louisiana power house Evangel Christian nosed Alabama State Champion Hoover in the title game. The tournament began yesterday, and will finish Saturday. Here are some of the highlights from yesterday's action.

Xavier Lee was the most impressive prospect at the passing camp yesterday. He has a big arm and a great frame.

John Parker Wilson is the top quarterback in the state of Alabama this season. He had a good day yesterday. Here he looks to the sidelines as the coaches signal in the next play.

Massillon High School took on the host Hoover in the first round of the round Robin. Massillon made the trip all the way from Ohio to compete in the 7v7 tournament.

Curtis Dawson is one of the top defensive players in the state of Alabama. Here he mans the middle linebacker spot for Hoover. He will play with his hand down in college, likely a defensive tackle.

Patrick White of Daphne High School in Alabama had an excellent day yesterday. While he is a very good high school quarterback, his future is at wide receiver or defensive back.

Marvin Johnson (#2) of Camden High School in South Carolina had a spectacular day yesterday. While he is a bit undersized, he caught the ball extremely well, and showed good elusiveness in the open field.

Evangel Christian took on Hoover in the Championship Game last year. Here, the B teams for the two powerhouses face off.

Jacob Hester of Evangel Christian is committed to Texas, and the tattoo on his left arm left little doubt as to how solid his commitment is.
