The Clemson Tigers (6-2) defeated the Wofford Terriers (3-4) 66-51 at home on Sunday.

“We felt a little pressure with soccer and football winning this weekend, so we knew we had to get a win to keep everybody smiling,” head coach Brad Brownell joked. “What a weekend for Clemson Athletics."

Clemson started the game off with a 20-2 run and held Wofford 27% shooting from the field in the 1st half, a season-high for the Tigers. Clemson also held Terriers leading scorer, Justin Gordon, scoreless in the 1st half (0/3).

Wofford cut the lead a few times in the 2nd half, but both times that they came within double-digits, Jaron Blossomgame hit a pair of threes. Blossomgame followed with a breakaway dunk late in the game to seal the deal.
Jaron Blossomgame posted his first double-double of the season with 22 points and 10 rebounds. He also had a career-high 4 blocks. Donte Grantham (11 points) and Avry Holmes (10 points) scored in double-figures as well.
