Clemson RB Wayne Gallman Has Decided to Return Next Season

CUTigers has learned that Clemson RB Wayne Gallman will return to Clemson next year for his redshirt junior season rather than declare for the NFL Draft.

Wayne Gallman picked up right where he left off in the latter half of 2014 and rushed for 1,527 yards this sesaon, setting a new Clemson single-season record. He had 13 TD's in 2015. Gallman also set the Clemson record for 100-yard rushing games in a season, doing so in 9 out of his last 12 games. After losing their first game of the season in heartbreaking style in the National Championship Game, the Tigers figure to be #1 in the 2016 preseason rankings. TE Jordan Leggett has already announced that he will be returning as well, and the Tigers are loaded on offense. Shaq Lawson, Kevin Dodd and Travis Blanks will be foregoing next season and enter the NFL Draft.
