Clemson DE Kevin Dodd Follows Fellow Bookend Shaq Lawson to NFL

Following a brilliant National Championship Game, Clemson DE Kevin Dodd has elected to forego his final season of eligibility and enter the NFL Draft.

Dodd had 3 sacks and 5 tackles-for-loss in Monday night's National Championship Game. His 12 sacks on the season ties him for 6th on the all-time Clemson list with First Round Draft Pick Vic Beasley, and his 23.5 TFL's for the season is 9th in Clemson history. Sack mate Shaq Lawson had already announced he will forego his senior season, so the Tigers are losing 2 of the best defensive ends in the nation, but they have a lot of young talent in players like Austin Bryant, Dane Rogers and Clelin Ferrell who are ready to take their place.

Stay tuned for updates here on, as several Clemson players are weighing their futures and announcing their decisions this week! Top Stories
