Shonn Green has already had two very impressive seasons for Winslow Township High School, and he is now preparing for an even better year this season. As a sophomore, Shonn rushed for over 1200 yards, and as a junior he rushed for over 1500 yards.

The offer list for the 6-0, 195 pound prospect currently includes Clemson, Iowa, Syracuse, Wisconsin and Hofstra, but several others including Maryland, Michigan State and Indiana are showing significant interest. "Clemson is my leader, with Iowa in 2nd," stated Green.

What factors will the prize recruit consider when selecting a college? "I want to go where I feel like I might see early playing time. I will look at the environment and how I get treated when I visit." Distance is not a concern for Green or his parents. "They want me to go. They want me to get away from home. They like the small town atmosphere."

Coach Lovett is recruiting Green for the Tigers. Clemson is recruiting Green, who runs a 4.47 forty, as a running back.

Don't expect an early commitment from the outstanding prospect. "I would like to wait. I want to take my visits in the fall."

What does this Garden state speedster think his strengths on the field are? "My strengths are my speed and my vision."

Green is looking forward to visiting Clemson later this fall. "I like the warmer weather down south. It sounds like a good environment."

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding running back from New Jersey, right up through signing day 2004.
