Wilson is not only one of the best quarterbacks in the Southeast; he is also a very talented baseball player. The strong-armed athlete is competing in the East Coast Professional Showcase tournament this week in Wilmington, North Carolina.

"I had a good game today. I went 2 for 3. I believe I will be pitching tomorrow. Our team is 2-0 so far this week."

Does Wilson plan to play baseball at the collegiate level? "I'm not sure yet," said the prize recruit.

As CUTigers.com first reported on July 24th, Wilson would like to visit Clemson when he returns home this weekend.

"I've talked with the coaches and I am going to try to go by Saturday after the game. My game is at 2:00 Saturday. If I don't get by this weekend then I'll just wait till I come up for some of the games this season."

The Tigers are still the team to beat for the Hoover star quarterback, but don't expect a commitment if he does make it to Clemson Saturday.

"Clemson is still my leader, but I don't expect to commit if I do make it by on Saturday."

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding quarterback from Alabama, right up through signing day 2004.
