4 ACC Teams Preseason Ranked

In the ESPN/USA Today Preseason Coaches' poll released Thursday, 4 teams from the ACC were ranked within the top 17 teams in the country. Clemson received 13 votes after finishing the 2002 season at 7-6.

If you want to speculate about the 2004 version of the Atlantic Coast Conference, with the addition of Miami and Virginia Tech, 6 out of 11 teams in the league are ranked within the top 17 in the nation. That number, which is is the most out of any conference, is 2 more than the ever-so-powerful SEC.
