The Clemson staff recently extended an offer to Georgia DB Myles "Spyder" Sims, and CUTigers has his reaction for you.

Atlanta, GA

The Clemson staff again reaches up the I-85 corridor into Metro Atlanta--this time to offer 2018 Westlake High School star Myles Sims.  Myles is a rangy defensive back prospect with a laundry list of offers from the likes of Michigan, LSU, Louisville, Auburn and South Carolina all throwing their names in the hat for the “Spyder-Man."

Clemson has a long-running history going back to the 80’s with Georgia defensive prospects, and the trend seems to have continued again here in the 2017, 2018 and 2019 classes. We caught up with Myles to get his thoughts on the Clemson offer.

CUTigers:  Myles, tell us your thoughts on the Clemson offer?

Sims:  "Well first off, I was extremely excited to receive the CU offer because that's one of my dream schools.”

CUTigers:  Are you planning a visit to the Clemson campus any time soon?

Sims:  “Yes, I do plan on visiting Clemson this upcoming summer. Coach Reed is recruiting me, and we have not elaborated yet on my position.”

CUTigers:  What stands out about Clemson and what they have built over the past few years?
Sims:  "A couple of things at Clemson are the family bond, the fans, the players, the coaches and the new facilities that they are building.”

CUTigers:  What  NFL players do you model your game after?
Sims:  “I try to model my game after Jalen Ramsey and Vernon Hargreaves.”
