ACC rival Florida State jumped over Clemson in the Coaches Poll, dropping the Tigers to #3, and they fell to #5 in the AP Poll, behind FSU, Ohio State and Michigan. The former is not surprising, as the Seminoles have an impressive win over then-ranked #11 Ole Miss. However, it's a little surprising that Ohio State and Michigan, with blowout wins over weak opponents thus far, would jump over a Clemson team with a night road win at a place like Auburn. The rankings are meaningless this time of year, but you can bet the Clemson players are mindful of them, and this disrespect might just give them the edge and chip on their shoulder that we saw them play with all last season.
