The 6-3, 285 pound defensive lineman has offers from Clemson, North Carolina and South Carolina, but others such as Tennessee continue to show strong interest. In previous interviews Bishop was not ready to name a leader or any favorites, but he is now ready to name his top 2 schools.

"I don't have a leader yet, but I do have 2 favorites. South Carolina and North Carolina are my top 2 right now. I've been visiting both of them a lot. I've seen things I like at both places. I'm also impressed with their graduation rates."

Bishop is not sure how he will decide which of his favorites will get a commitment. "Right now I'd put them in a hat and shake it up," stated the outstanding defender.

Tennessee may still be a factor if they offer because former teammate Eric Young signed with the Vols last February, but they will face an uphill battle. "I've been thinking about them too. I haven't visited there. Maybe later on they will offer. I like them, but not like the other two."

Don't expect a quick decision unless Bishop is having a bad season. "I set a goal to play hard this season and have a great season. I want to wait and decide on signing day. If I don't have a good season then I will commit earlier."

The Tarheels may get the first chance to impress Bishop this fall. "I'm thinking about going to see North Carolina and FSU game on August 30th."

How does the talented prospect feel about Union's Roscoe Crosby returning to Clemson? "I think it's alright for him. It's good for him to get back in school. I think he just wants to play football. He can play now. I think he will be in the NFL one day."
