#2 Clemson Drops to #5 in Both the AP and Coaches Polls

After Losing to Pitt by One Point on a Last-Second Field Goal, #2 Clemson Dropped to #5 in Both the AP and Coaches Polls

Although the #2 Tigers have dropped to #5 after the last-second, one-point loss to Pitt on Saturday, they are still in prime pouncing position to make a repeat appearance in the College Football Playoff. Thanks to losses by #3 Michigan and #4 Washington, all the Tigers have to do is win their final three games against Wake Forest, South Carolina and the ACC Coastal champion, and they will be a lock for one of the four playoff spots. Interestingly, the loss to Pitt could end up benefiting the Tigers in that they could play in Atalanta as the #4 seed as opposed to Arizona as the #2 or #3 seed. The College Football Playoff Selection Committee Rankings are released on Tuesday night and should be very interesting. Both of Sunday's polls are below!
